Has anyone out there who has "Freeview" been having problems in the last week with their digital channels, especially ITV and Channel 4? I am having to watch these back on Analogue at the moment. Although I can watch Sky News and BBC without a problem. I don't know reason for this, thought it may have been the recent weather? Thanks for anyone that can answer this, as it is driving me mad...

No trouble on my Freeview.
Yes my mum .... esp with itv
keep coming and going .... on her stb once the signal goes ... she has to re-scan to get the channels back

I'm on a different transmitter (emily moor) - no probs there
also on sky ... no problems
since we have been on Digital i have noticed that although, in gerneral, the picture and sound is much crisper there is far more noticeble interference and it does not always occur during bad weather. Some of the smaller channels (ABC1 for example) become unwatchable due to glitching, hanging pictures etc.....

I did see that some people may require an arial upgrade to cope with the signal so that might be worth looking at.
i read that although the digital bandwidth is much greater than the analogue signal, because of the number of channels each channel actually has less comparable assigned bandwidth, so any problems are amplified.

If you are 'losing' channels then that sounds like software problem.
thanks everyone for your input, last one sounds a bit technical, but I will look into it. Ta : )
