Ahh! wireless you either hate it or hate it!.
This sort of "just got better" is by no means out of the ordinary ...
I'm still in favour of wire. ... If not actual wire ... the home networking adapters (which use your mains electricity wiring) are becoming more popular as areas become more saturated with wireless - unfortunately it's still relatively pricey compared to a usb thingy .....
A new router AND PC (I assume you hung on to the old hubby?;-)
The latest routers are more reliable.
But unless your old adapter locks on to your new router (good choice btw) immediately. It would be worth going for new USB thingys also.
Whatever they say about compatibility ... the only sure way is to buy everything from the same manufacturer and of the same "family". Otherwise you end up compromising on settings ...
