I ran the balarc advisor on my computer 2 find out wot internal modem i had but it just says so i could get the drivers but it just says 'standard 56000 bps V90 modem' Is there anyway of finding the correct driver with only this infomation on the modem??

No a generic driver will not work. Follow the advise I gave here: question 41037
