inputing text to a pdf document.

I got Windows XP. can anyone tell me how I insert text into a pdf document. it was opened with Adobe.

To put it simply, you have Adobe READER. This allows you to read and possibly copy the text in the document to the clipboard or send it to the printer. Some PDF files have protection that stop you from copying and printing.
To edit and save PDF files you need the full Adobe Acrobat software.
Your best bet is to try to copy the text into a Word document then make your changes there.
