I haven't seen it before. Someone has probably made it in Adobe Photoshop, it's quite a simple logo.

Assuming photoshop,or indeed any layermethod photo editing package, .... Grey text on one layer. Add a layer with a black-to-white gradient and then set it as a multiply filter. Merge layers down and then add a outer bevel layer style.

Indeed very simple to make in Photoshop even for a beginner although you should try to make something original instead of stealing ideas :p

Talk about give the guy a hard time.

There are 2 parts to this logo, the typeface (font) and the way the colouring (fill) changes from grey to black (gradient).
