Mustek scanner with vista

I recently upgraded to Vista and am having a problem re-installing my Mustek A3 USB scanner - can I overcome this or will I need to use on another PC with XP?

Fortunately I have not had a problem with other devices and this is actually the newest (just a few days out of guarantee too)

Have you looked at the Mustek site for new drivers and support?

thanks ethel I have done that - awaiting reply. I think I visited a different site yesterday but said only for XP If all else fails I will have to use on my husband's PC which still has XP although no room for it in his study! Used only occasionally to scan maily his paintings.

I'm sure somebody will develop the driver eventually. Hopefully Mustek has done it already.

Or not - if they are hoping to sell more new scanners by making the older ones redundant.
