But the internet does not have a concept of A4. You have probably noticed that if you increase or decrease this size of your browser window the text and pictures on the page expand or contract to fill the page.
So if you come to print an internet page it is trying to fit this flexible layout onto a single A4 page.
I am not sure what page you are trying to print but a look at the times online shows me that the pages are made up of lots of different areas, articles and adverts, like this:
http://travel.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_s tyle/travel/where_was_i/article1271593.ece
This "page" is not a static page but it built up by some clever internet software, so printing it is difficult because it is so fluid and dynamic.

Couple of suggestions
Not sure what sort of output you are getting when you try and print the page, but try printing in landscape mode rather than portrait.
The extra width will often show the whole web page.
Another option is to save the window as an image and print that.
To do this you:
In the browser display the page you want to print.
Press the Alt and Print Screen keys together. This will take a "picture" of the page and put it on the clipboard.
Open Microsoft Paint and select Edit then Paste.
This will paste the image into Paint.
You can now print the image from Paint.
If the picture inside Paint is not quite right you can resize your browser window and retake the pictue until it is showing exacly what you want and try again.

David,
I do this competition every week (haven't won yet!). I've never had the need to print the page but just tried it and, asVHG said, it prints 'funny' (clever software and all that). Normally, the suggestion to capture the page as an image is the way around this but.......
I'm assuming (maybe wrongly) that you just want the text of the competition so that you can use it offline? (Do you not get the Sunday Times?). If so, then do this.
Go the the end of the text (just after the second question), click and hold down your mouse button then 'drag' up to the top of the text so as to select it. When you now go to print, choose selection in the print box - that should do it. (You can start at the top of the text and drag down, but you often get more than you bargain for!). Hope that's wahat you want.
