sometimes it just happens...not sure why.

do other things you burn work properly ?
This is a right pain and I stopped using Nero 7 because of this problem. I reverted back to Nero 6 which still has the problem, but it does not happen as often. I tried all sorts of things to rectify the problem (different discs, changing burning speeds) but nothing really worked. I dont often burn to disc any more as I have a Media playing external hard drive and I simply plug it into my tv scart and watch video from the hard drive. If I do need to burn something to disc, I now use WinAVI to convert the video to DVD format first, then use Nero to burn to disc. I have never had a synch problem since, and the added bonus is WinAVI will convert a movie in about half an hour which is way quicker than Nero, and then Nero only takes about 5 - 10 minutes to burn the DVD.

It happens everytime with nero. i use roxio for audio but i cant use roxio for burning a film?

thanks, i will try winavi - is it easy to use ? and should i use nero 6 with this?

thanks again !!!!
The other option you have is to buy a DVD player with a DivX logo on it.
If you do this you only have to burn the movie as a data DVD and you can fit 6 movies onto one DVD-r and watch them on your standalone DVD player.
DivX DVD players have been as little as 19 in asda. (crazy i know)
