Google Earth. What is that thingy please ?

Has anyone noticed that big thingy just south of center of Greenland? There must be someone out there who thinks it's a bit of muck on the lense, but the odd thing is the scale of it! If you zoom in you can see clouds passing over it and snowdrifts giving it a "real" appearence, although it could be argued those features are just coincidence of the "smudged" lense. However, the most striking thing is, zooming out- just compare the scale of it with e.g. islands on the coastline. What !!!??? Makes the Dome look small eh? Can anyone enlighten? I'm intreagued enough to take the risk of looking foolish.

As confirmation there is even its shaddow apparent to the south-west. But it's still a thingy I'm afraid.
Yes I will try to post a link, but as I say, if you have downloaded Google Earth you can't miss it. It's there in the middle of a featurless, white Greenland.
