hi all. I want to link two pcs to share files, (both run xp with functional network cards), but I need to know apart from setting up a reverse cable what settings need to change (if any)? Really basic instructions appreciated. Thanks

Go to >control Panel> Network setup wizard and it will give you step by step instructions, takes about 5 Min's max on each PC. I have my PCs linked up the same way.
