Does it make any difference to the lifetime of an AA rechargeable battery if it is charged in a quick charger 1 to 2 hours or charging in the normal charger up to 10 hours.Thanks

Yes,it tends to shorten the life and may give reduced capacity.Suggest you use the fast charge when essential,but from time to time run the batteries down as low as the equoment they are used in allows,and then charge in the normal charger over the longer time.Its heat that is the problem,and fast chargers certainly heat things up much more.
