can anyone tell me how to get rid of the "1 unread e-mail" or "3 programmes running" that shows up under my name at sign in. its annoying.... and on the e-mail anyone who turnes on my comp can get my e-mail address which i dont want. thanx for the help .. xx

The instructions for removing the "...unread emails" count can be found here...

...however I believe that the "...programs running" message cannot be removed.
