How can I control who can find me in searches and what they can see?
By default all users will be able to find you in a search. You can customize who can find you in a search by following these steps:
Please go to the Privacy page.
On the following page click "Search."
You can change the general setting from the drop down menu here to determine who can find you in a search.
If you select a setting other than Everyone, you can then fine tune the Search privacy via the checkboxes below.
After you have determined who can find you in a search you will want to customize what these users can do once they have found you. There are four possible actions underneath the title "What Can People Do With My Search Results": see your picture, send you a message, poke you and add you as a friend. Un-checking any of these actions will prevent the user from being able to perform the action.
