adding a download function to a website...?

i have been asked by a band to add a function to their website that will enable people to download their album, after a payment has been processed through paypal.

can anyone explain to me how i would do this?

you would need some kind of server side programming for this. someone has probably already made something like this. Considering you have no idea about server side (evidently), check hotscripts.com or something
