I'm using AVG free edition, and outlook 2003 for my gmail account. Is there any reason why my emails don't have the 'scanned by avg' message on them? It's set to scan incoming and outgoung mail
Is it just shown as an attachment - a paperclip symbol perhaps - and when you open the attachment you see the 'scanned..' message.
I am genuinely interested as to why you use outlook for gmail as gmail is web-based and can be accessed from any pc in the world. It also has its own mail fetcher for up to 5 other email accounts which is much more user friendly than outlook.
