Im trying to transfer some photographs from my computer onto my samsung e900 phone using a usb cable. Everything is fine apart from the resolution of the photographs im trying to transfer is too high for the phone. Can anyone tell me, if its possible, how i can lower the resolution? I dont have photoshop or anything like that!
Thank you!

Load an image file into Irfanview (which everyone should have on their PC):
http://www.irfanview.com/

Go to Image > Information. Lower the DPI figures and click 'OK'. Go to File and select 'Save As'. (Don't use 'Save' or you risk over-writing your original file).

For greater control over the image (e.g. changing the image size as well as the DPI) use Image > Resize/Resample, instead of Image > Information.
