When we moved into our house in Dec, the previous owner had gone with Pipex for her phone needs. It was then up to us to try and get rid of them. Not a nice job. Lots of unpleasant phone calls were involved. We went with NTL in the end as they put another line in altogether!
So a word of warning, if you do sign up with them, don't expect to be able to move away from them easily.

I went to Pipex Homecall (the one in Manchester) from NTL. I cannot fault the service, product, dealing with them company, etc. Members of my family have gone over to them as well on my recommendation and they too have not had any problems.
The part about being taken over by Tiscali would be a worry though as I consider that company to be the worst one going! Both myself and family members have had plenty of trouble from them! I did also hear though that Pipex were being brought out by Virgin?
