This may be a silly question but is it easy to create a pdf? If so how do I do it?

Yes, very easy. You require the full Adobe Acrobat software package (not just the free reader).

Not so j2buttonsw, but yes that is one way. The other, cheaper, nay free way to do this is to use a piece of software where you can actually "print" to .pdf.

This means whatever you create in another software package, like Microsoft Word, you can save as a pdf.

After you install the software, create your file in Microsoft Word, for example, go to Print and choose PDFCreator from the list of printers. You'll then be guided through the saving process, shouldn't be too hard.
