Stopping Pop-Ups

Im having a really bad problem with pop-ups at the moment. Im infected with some spyware or adware or something. Ive tried using Ad-aware remover and pop-up stoppers but with no joy. When I look at the available toolbars in IE there is an option called 'Locks mode lies'. I can't delete it or anything, its really annoying me! Any help would be appreciated.

Try installing a google bar which now has a pop up blocker, I'm suprised that ad aware didn't work, you should also try running spybot
