I have used Zone Alarm Free with XP for some years. Now I have Vista on a new laptop but I cannot find a compatible version for Vista. Any suggestions?

Upgrade to XP and solve not only this problem, but also all those that you have yet to experience...
upgrade from Vista to XP???
I thought that Cats! lol :)
ooops sorry 'mycats' :)
zone alarm is compatible with vista, but!!! you have to pay for it.

An alternative to zone alarm is called NOD32, to make nod32 vista compatible you need to download the NOD patch ( version 2.70.39)

Their web site says:

ZoneAlarm is FREE for individual and not-for-profit charitable entity use (excluding governmental entities and educational institutions).

mycats, SlackAlice, if you had read any of the stuff about Vista on here before, you would know that a change to XP is definitely a change for the better, and hence, an upgrade :-)

Thank you all for your answers.
SlackAlice, your link took me to the right site where I was eventually able to download free Zone Alarm after some difficulty and a long process to delete Bullguard from my C drive. Thanks again
If you buy a new pc and it comes with 'Vista' then stay with it! If you have an older pc with XP do not upgrade to 'Vista', because that is when your problems start, mainly because your other hardware/software doesn't have compatible drivers.
