Recording right protected video tapes to DVD

Does anyone know how to do this? I am recording all my old videos to DVD so that I can make a bit more space at home. I am using a dual video/DVD player/recorder. Most of the films have copied fine - but some I just can't. Mostly old ones too - like Barney Live in New York!

If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful.

Thanks.

You need a device that gets past the Macrovision copy protection. You can pick them up off ebay or Google and find a supplier. Some cost up to 40.

Ther ehave been suggestions from similar answers to this question that starting the video first and then starting the recording a short time later gets past this protection.
