Hi, I have recently bought a webcam, it is a "Logitech Quick Cam" It states that it has "clear, echo-free audio with rightsound technology" However while I am chatting to my friend I have a really clear echo. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong? Or is it the camera on the other end? I have moved my speakers away, like stated and ticked the box for echo off. Please help!

Dedicated voice over Ip is nowhere near to being briliant yet
not even on private networks
voice over 'tinternet is as hit and miss as it's always been
and echo seems to be the most common thing ppl complain of of of

I think with all these things it's a case of moving things around .... to get the "least bad" position
rooms have
hard surfaces - which cause echos
soft surfaces - which muffle sound

1 question .... does the other end have problems with other ppl?
ok one more
do you have similar problems with any one else?

If nothing else I suppose the lesson is ... don't believe everything (anything) you read

Thanx ACtheTROLL
I haven't tried it with anyone else yet. Will try moving things etc. Will ask my friend also.
If you've changed the echo setting and it still doesn't work, I would suggest a look here:-
