unable to burn playist on itunes. since reinstall

Hi. I had to reinstall vista home premium on my laptop due to a crash. Now when using Itunes 7.32 i am unable to burn playlists to cd - i keeep getting the error message 4280 and the cd ejects. I was able to burn cds no problem before the reinstall of vista. I have since done another reinstall and stopped any windows updates and this still dosent work. Any research i have done says this is a burner issue mainly with sony burners , but mine is a toshiba cd burner. It was working ok before so whats happing ? is it possible to downgrade itunes to a previous install? I can burn dvds ok so whats the problem here any others having the same problem. Please help here as I am pulling my hair out here?
