Dodgy Freeview Box?

I've had my Alba Freeview box for a good 18 months - it was only cheap at the time - �30 ish I think. For about the past week, if I am watching TV, the box will suddenly go completely off - not just onto standby, but completely off. It will be off for about 20 seconds, and then come back on. It can go for ages without it happening, but then it may happen 2 or 3 times in a 5-10 minute period.

Is it time to chuck it out and buy a new one? Or could there be an explanation?
