How do I get the aircraft repair pads to work? I build them, they're switched on, and sometimmes they repair aircraft but mostly damaged aircraft just ignore it and sit there half dead right next to it! Is there any way you can make them go for repairs?

You've got to either point the planes at the pads or have them patrol nearish the pads. So if you've got several damaged planes, send them near the pad and then 'patrol'. They'll each get fixed when there's a pad available.
