best type of camcorder

Hi I am gonan go get a new camcorder and see there are several types of ways to store the footage on the camcorder. Does anyone know which is the best way ..SD card... hard drive or still the old fashion way of dv tape.. thanks...

As far as I know, DV tape is the only method that stores uncompressed video - all the others use lossy compression.
