Samsung G600

My Samsung G600 has been fabulous until this morning! The alarm didn't go off!! I have re-set the alarm, turned the phone on and off, removed the sim card - but the alarm will still not work.
Has anyone any ideas or should I simple take it back to the shop?

is it in silent mode, if not and it is in general just check on phone settings that your warning settings are active
