Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells brand new FORD radios at a reasonable price? All the FORD main dealers I've contacted are way too expensive, especially when you consider that there are DAB radios for sale for about 100 more than they're asking for an analogue one!!

Not that I am an expert, but I would have thought that the only place to buy a new Ford radio is from a Ford dealer. After all that's why they have the name Ford. At the risk of not answering your question properly though, how about an almost new one from an insurance write off, or another make? After all you could probably save a lot of moneythat way.
Ford do not make thier own radios, they use major suppliers (was panasonic, not sure now) and just have there logo added. Why take a trip down your local Halfords or similar and buy one of these.
Alternatively contact a local car dismantlers. Not brand new, but very likely they will be able to obtain a perfect match!
In Autotrader, there is a company that advertises ford radios like these in the small ads towards the rear of the magazine. I am fairly sure it is a national company and it seems to appear most weeks. Sadly I don't have this week's copy for the details, but it may be a couple of quid well spent come Thursday...
