Receiving picture messages to a sony ericsson w850i

I have a w850i phone which is not connected to the internet. I also cannot receive picture messages. When someone tries to send me a picture message I get the notification and then it tries to download the picture but can't.

There is obviously some setting missing somewhere, does anyone know what the settings should be so that i can receive these messages?

I've tried contacting o2 but of course they are useless!

you will need to get your phone wap enabled. you can send for the settings to be sent direct to your phone from here....
