Hi there,

The manual for the above says it is suitable for AMD CPU's
of 600 MHz to 1.2 GHz.
I have a 2.6 GHz AMD cpu and associate fan, will it operate
on this board ? If I try it what is likely to happen ?
Could I damage the board or memory by trying it ?
Advice please.

This motherboard is compatible with all AMD Duron processors and up to AMD Athlon 2100+
So it would appear yours is not compatible.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will have to find a 2100 MHz cpu.

I tried to find the chart you sent me but failed to find it.
