I recently acquired an Acer aspire 5520 laptop,
Have been tying for ages to get access to the wireless internet, when i press 'connect' it's trying to connect to 'sky04122', then i keep getting the message " sky04122 - the settings saved on this computor for the network do not match the requirement of the network"
Despite numerous attempts & emails to the manufacturers (who haven't even acknowledged) i am still STUCK :(
Please can one of clever people help me, any help would be very much appreciated :)

It is not the laptop that has the problem - it is your router settings.

Have you connected the laptop to the router by cable? If not, try it now.

Is it Vista or XP?
