failed messages on Nokia Phone

i have just bought a nokia 6233 (from a friend) and when i try sending multimedia messages they are failing.

any ideas how i might rectify this problem.

Does the phone you are sending them to have multimedia capabilities?

Did you put your own SIM in it that perhaps wasn't designed for multimedia?

Do you have enough credit on your phone?

ring your service provider and tell them, its probably just the setting u need to change, they will talk you thro it but ring them from a landline

the 'sending message' screen goes off, the message then goes to my outbox saying failed.

How much memory space is on your phone?
Have you always had this problem or is it recently occuring?
Does the phone make any noises while processing the message?

Are you using 3G to send the messages?
If yes, can you tell me the settings you've got for it.
