I am trying to uninstall Virgin Broadband PCGuard as it slowed my whole system down nearly to a standstill !!!!!!
I have installed McAfee but now I am unable to uninstall the PCGuard. I went to control panel, add/remove programs, and clicked on uninstall but I keep getting the message :- Virgin Broadband PCGuard failed to shutdown. Must be shutdown to continue. If I click on retry I just keep getting the same message. I have tried with the PC connected and disconnected to internet but get the same message. Please help!
Download Ccleaner. Google for it - it's free, or you can send a contribution if you like it. It's uninstall facility is excellent. Don't forget to scan the whole system, and clean the registry
