I-POD VERSUS ???

I am looking to buy something that stores a lot of Mp3's, something like an i-pod, but cheaper, and still good, any ideas??

There are a lot out there, all of which will do a job. A couple to consider may be: Creative Jukebox Zen, iRiver iHP120, Archos Gmini 220, Cowon iAudio M3, Rio Karma 20GB, Philips HDD120, Archos AV120. Its down to personal choice. Do some searching, find some reviews, and pick your favourite!!

In my opinion you want to go for one that accepts multiple formats. Despite its reutation MP3 is a seriously old format and not really up to the job.

In what way are mp3's lacking?
