does anyone know of a website where you can type in the name of a person and it will give you their adress of the other way round.

I doubt it because such a website would be illegal (Data Protection Act 1998) sorry.

If the person you want is within the US the use http://www.anywho.com/ powered by AT&T, but you have search by state.

www.192.com - you have to subscribe and if the person is on the local coucil register you can find them and phone number (not ex-direct tho).
