Is there any reason why my printer doesn't print the black ink, only the colour (no, it doesn't need refilling!) ? It has been out of use for a while and am wondering if it's dried up!. .............Also on another printer why was the colour mostly pink tinted? Thanx in advance.

could just be the nozzles have clogged up on the black (and on the other printer, on everything except the magenta). Does your PC have a nozzle-check programme you could run?

I know I "T-I-A'd" , but thanks again. Will try the nozzle check first, if that doesn't work I'll go find Santa.

Check your printing setting. It might be set to print in colour. If it does, you need to choose black printing if you want to print in black and white.
