How do I copy music files in mp3 format (not wma) from a CD to my computer or SD memory card?

My computer operates on Window Vista.

Hello,
Windows Media Player will let you rip the cd to the computer. You will need to set in Options the choice to save as mp3 format if you haven't already.

Then you can transfer (drag and drop or copy and paste) the files to the memory card.

I did what you suggested, but when I came to rip the CD via Windows Media Player I got the following error message.

Windows Media player cannot rip the track because a compatible MP3 Encoder is not installed on your computer.
Install a compatible MP3 encoder or choose a different format to rip to (such as Windows Media Player).

Can you help me further please?
