Sony Ericsson W880i, No Sound

Hi, My Sony Ericsson W880i mobile just suddenly stop playing music and ring tones a few weeks ago. I have checked all the settings but im afraid the sound has gone. It still vibrates for messages or on incoming calls. Does anyone know how i might be able to get the sound back. It cost me a fortune and is out of warranty?

silly question but you might have hit one of the settings buttons by accident, although you have checked it I would go into each individual setting that you can use on soy eric phone i.e outdoors ,silent, normal etc. Failing that take it into a shop who your line rental is with and they may be able to tell you if it is a common fault with that particular phone.

I'm in the same boat, my battery was low and actually run out. When I recharged my phone it had no sound for ringtones playing music etc. Ive checked all settings and they are all ok. If anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated.
