Oh maya god. can anyone help me before self harming becomes the only answer for me. i have been trying for 3 painful weeks to download 3D modeling software Maya version 7 or 8.0 for free but have had no luck. does anyone know where to download Maya for free.pleease

You can download Maya PLE 8.5 for free from this link:

It's a Personal Learning Edition but it's works just as well as the full complete version with only a few features missing.

You may have to register your details with Autodesk but it's worth it for what you get because you can then download their tutorials from the website.
If you've never used Maya 3D, it's a steep learning curve.
There's plenty of books and online tutorials available.

if only it was that easy. my mac G4 processor cant handle the 8.5 version. i must do with 8.5 or 7 but it needs to be a full version. i know its going to be a mission thats why your answers still give me hope.
