Problems with WMP

I recently installed WMP9 and playing video files some of them play upside down and I think back-to-front. I've turned the terminal around, stood on my head neither of which proved very successful; the latter giving me pains behind the eyes. Anyone got any ideas?

As a last resort you could uninstall WMP9 by going to my computer then go to add/remove programs and delete it. And then try to install it again.
