Upgrading BT Broadband
3 Answers
Can some please explain, why if I want to upgrade from Option 1 to Option 2 or 3 on BT Broadband, I have to wait 9 days (just like when I first got broad band) for them to set it up and get me the package sent out?
I mean, all im asking for is to go from 5gb usage per month to unlimited! Surely its just a case of making a note on their system that I no longer have a download limit and no longer need reminders on how much im downloading??
Or is the person I spoke to at BT wrong??? She did say that I receive the same modem etc when I first got my broadband, meaning I have a spare modem.
Anyone have any ideas??

They said that this time they would take no action, but if I exceed the monthly limit on 2 consecutive months, I would be charged 30p per GB over, which is nothing really.
I never get usage updates, but I am thinking of upgrading to option 3.
