i have a 42" buslink monitor but i want to use it as a tv i know this can be done as long as i run freeview or cable through it but what cables do i need 2 do this as there is no scart socket in the monitor?

Does your monitor have speakers?
You need to consider how the audio content will be heard.

Unless your monitor has RBG input as well as the 15 pin subD VGA input. If so, you can buy a lead that will provide the RBG phonos direct from the Scart output.
