Faulty Panasonic Microwave
0 Answers
Has anyone had any trouble with Panasonic Microwaves.
Our 15 month model NNA 554W intermittently wouldn't let us enter the time we wanted and/or wouldn't go on low/med/high etc. Two weeks after this, we used it, it finished the programme, beeped. We took the stuff out, closed the door, but left the plug switched on. About 60 mins later, there was a massive bang in the kitchen. All the house electrics went off. And there was a big "heat haze" coming from the microwave.
Of course we didnt use any more and bought a new one, but Panasonic don't seem to be bothered about any danger or anything. They sent a bit of money for inconvenience (after 5 months chasing them up), but they just dont seem concerned about it blowing up like that. Or if anyone may have been touching it at the time - would they have been electrocuted?
Would be very grateful for any help or suggestions what to do next please?
