I need to track how much data is being downloaded as i am limited on my broadband connection (30Gb month). Is there a program that can keep track and doesnt reset when i restart?

......30 gig limit or roughly 1 gig per day i somehow doubt you'll exceed that even if u download solidly all month long!!!

even with a 1Mb connection? Sorry, im new to this! 1024Mb is a lot! Thanks for yr help.
Yeah, unless you're very lucky and the files you are trying to get are coming down at fast speeds, it is a reasonably high limit. (Cue loads of people saying that they need a much higher limit for legit software releases etc.).
Until I change my package I have a 5GB per month cap which I got thru in 4 or 5 days. I was not downloading anything even remotely illegal but was uploading lots. Pity my cap is for combined up/download! I don't need a higher cap/limit but I'm still going unmetered soon so that I don't have to worry about this. See - there are folks who use a LOT of bandwidth :-)
