Flickr website now sits on my google sidebar?

Can anyone help....I logged on to the website Flickr for a photo and now every day about 20 Flickr photos creep back into my computer and come up in my pictures on the Google sidebar. I have tried to block the website. I have contacted Flickr and they say it is not their problem. Does anyone have a brainwave please? any thought appreciated. thank you.
