i want to send the same email to a few people but i want to hide the other peoples email addressess so they are not displayed on the email - how do i do it? ive tried putting 1 receipient in the send to box and then putting a few addresses in the bcc box but it wont let me do it.

I was going to suggest the bcc (blind copy). It should work.

Make sure if you put a few names in there you separate them with the correct separator (semi colon?)

The other option is to create a mailing list (distribution list)with any name you choose (say "mylist"), then add everyone to the mailing list.

Then send the e-mail to just "mylist" and it should send it to everyone on the list.
It's not too clear what you mean when you write 'it won't let me do it'. If you mean that the recipients in the bcc field can still see the address of the person in the main address field, the solution is simple: Send the e-mail to your own address and then put all of the real recipients' addresses in the bcc field (separated by either semi-colons or commas).

thanks folks, i never used a semi colon when separating the addresses. When i said it wont let me do it, i meant that it would not let me send the email. sorry im not very technical :) . thanks for your replies most helpful x
