Vista Problem

Hi there, ive just started getting this problem since yesterday - no software has been added/removed.

Everytime i open lets say Documents , it opens, then the full windows explorer closes itsself, then comes back on. But the thing is, my documents closes and i cant open any files... Though, i am able to open programs.

any error messages to go with this "facility"?

you say nothing added /altered .....
how about automatic updates .... or (i can't really see this one - but ....) virus/spyware checker?

or any other apps that might be on silent updates?
