screen dump using paint

Suddenly my screen dump doesn`t work. When I go to paint, edit and paste, the dialog box i need doesn`t appear anymore. Anyone any ideas please?? Thanks in anticipation.

Two things I can think of at present....

1) Make sure you definately press Print Screen hard enough

2) First, make a 'select' box, the tool in the top right of the toolbar, of anysize, then simply paste into that

Have you got your F Lock key activated? On my pc it I cannot screen dump if this key is active.
