I'm having similar problems at the moment and have spent the past week trying to rid my PC of viruses and spyware - the source of why my PC was running very slowly , displaying error messages and periodically kicking me out the system. The Internet may be an invaluable tool but it certainly seems to bring about it's own set of problems. I am lucky in the respect that my brother is a whizz with computers and builds and repairs them , so I can call on him for help. Why don't you get in touch with your Internet provider's technical support dept. and ask them for a little advice if you get no joy here. Sorry I can't really help you , I'm not very technical minded I'm afraid.

go to www.computing.net and do a search for your problem there. Its a very helpful site and has fixed numeerous problems on my computer. Choose your OS down the left hand side, then search for some key words
You have a virus and/or a Trojan on your machine, whcih is mucking around with systems files, no doubt to plant disruptive or privacy-breaking snoop programs called "spyware". You need to buy and install a solid anti-virus package on your machine, like Norton Anti-Virus or one of countless others, then an anti-spyware tool to scan your hard drive and get rid of the problems you've already got. As for the "kernel" message, if you read it properly you'll see that it names a specific system file which has been corrupted, and that file also needs to be replaced by a fresh copy from Microsoft or some other legitimate Help website. Unfortunately, internet-connected PC's require good security and a little bit of routine maintenance to keep the problems at bay, so read up a little if you can, and it might help to keep a few notes on what operations are the most problematic and exactly what messages are being displayed.
