freeview tv

is it possible to view freeview tv from a portable tv with no outside ariel. im thinking about buying an integrated freeview tv for the bedroom, or a tv and freeview box, would i need to connect to the ariel on the roof or would an ariel booster do the job.....
any help would ba appreciated ty
